It would do, you're an argument short :)
If you mean you get error requesters when changing protection bits in
bulk, this bug was fixed in the update late last year. The upgrade to
5.3 is on AACD04 and Aminet.
However, this bug should cause a loss of files, only an error requester
and a read-only partition. I had it several times with older version of
PFS and a reboot always cleared thing up.
